Summary
Notifications is causing a performance issue on very large instances.
Steps to Reproduce
- Have a very large Confluence instance
- Install Notifications
- Perform a quick search
Issue
The search takes longer than it should.
Investigation
When Notifications is installed and the Notifications Migrations (notifications-migration-web-section) module is enabled, search performance is measurably and consistently worse.
On the test instance noted above, results were as follows:
