Post Function 'Assign to last role member' only picks first assignee

Post Function 'Assign to last role member' only picks first assignee from issue history if there are more than one valid assignee.
According to the post function's description it should pick the last valid user which is not the case for us:
"Assign this issue to the last user from the specified role who this issue was assigned to previously."
