      Description

      Description

When using the Simple Scripted Validator, it does not show the configured error message. This can be replicated with the following example

      Example

To check Original Estimate, the specified error does not show if the Original Estimate field is selected

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a Simple Scripted Validator checking the Original Estimate
      2. Set a specified error to appear should the validator check fail
      3. Set the field where the error should appear on to be the Original Estimate
      4. Try performing a transition that would fail the validator check

      Expected Result

The transition should fail, with the error message specified in the Simple Scripted Validator showing up

      Actual Result

The specified error message does not show. Rather, it just shows an error message saying it is an illegal workflow operation

      Workaround

If you leave the field as blank or unspecified the specified error shows up fine
