      Description

      Setting a form value via initializer for the Description field does not work in JSM Customer Portal in Jira version 8.15. We believe that this is due to the new feature in JSM that changes the Description field to use Wiki Style Renderer in the portal.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Set up a Jira 8.15 instance with ScriptRunner
      2. Create a new Behaviour with a Service Desk mapping. Use the code below in the initialiser.
        • def description = getFieldById("description")
          if (! description.getFormValue() || description.getFormValue()=="") {
              description.setFormValue("test")
          }

      3. Head to the customer portal.
      4. Choose the Request Type with the Description field visible in the Create screen.

      Expected Behaviour

      The form value will be set for the Description field in the Customer Portal via Behaviours as seen here (tested with SR 6.17, Jira 8.13.2): Set Description Value in 6.17.webm

      Actual Behaviour

      The form value is not set for the Description field in the Customer Portal via Behaviours as seen here: Description not set 6.19.webm
