The help text set via Behaviour .setHelpText() for Cascading Field on the Service Desk Portal is displayed right next to the field instead of under it.
- Create a Select List (cascading) custom field & name it 'Cascading List'
- Add the field to one of the request types in a Jira Service Desk project
- Create a Behaviour, map it to the Service Desk project & add the script below as Initialiser script
The help text appears below the Cascading List field.
The help text appears at an odd position right next to the Cascading List field.
Use setDescription() to add a short text below the Cascading List field.
- The help text displays correctly for Cascading List field on Create Issue, Edit Issue & transition screens.
