    Description

      setError() does not persist if user moves away from the Edit screen (Issue Detail View)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. In Jira Software, create Behaviour as below:
      2. Go to Backlog > Click on one of the tickets to open Issue Detail View.
      3. Click on the Description field or Ellipsis button (Right corner) > Edit to open the Edit screen.
      4. Go to another tab.
      5. Back to the Edit screen.
      6. Edit the field (Description)
      7. Click Update.

      Expected Behaviour

      setError() persists, and the user will not be able to update the issue.

      Actual Behaviour

      setError() does not persist, and the user will be able to update the issue.
