Exception generated when adding / removing an event in Events field

Issue

Adding or removing events causes the attached exception. Doesn't appear to affect the functionality otherwise, but the error does appear on the page as well as in logs.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a listener
2. Click Add
3. Edit the listener and clear the Events field
4. Notice the StringIndexOutOfBoundsException in the UI and the server logs
